Bout time!
ATF is proposing to allow married couples to file a joint application as makers and/or transferees of NFA-regulated fi****ms. This would eliminate the current need for spouses to create a legal trust to jointly possess NFA fi****ms, reducing legal costs and administrative burdens. Under joint registration, transfers between spouses would not trigger a separate NFA transfer, creating a simpler, lower-cost option for law-abiding married couples.
