Little Moon Floral is where many of my interests, skills, and passions intersect in a very fulfilling way. It is both an at home floral design studio & a cottage garden micro flower farm. I specialize in romantic garden style floral design, and prefer airy textured florals with high fragrance & using color for visual impact.
I come from the Bay Area, California where I got my MFA in fiction & nonfiction. I have an extensive history of working in nonprofits and with volunteer populations.
My history and skillset helps me understand the importance of storytelling in all aspects of the creative process of bringing your vision to life.
I am passionate about supporting local floriculture & building community between florists and local growers and created PDX Micro Farm to Florist 💐 to allow everyone to connect and support one another.
I created my cutting garden when I was 3 months postpartum with my third child. It was only when I was diagnosed with adhd and treated that I was able to start this business (a dream I’ve carried with me for many years).
My garden has helped me through many hard times, it’s my sanctuary, and I’ve built a home for so many birds, bees, dragon flies, butterflies & the joy it brings me to have a safe haven for so many creatures that did not live here years ago is immeasurable.
