Goji berry has been used for thousand years in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Considered a “superfood”, antioxidant-rich fruits contain vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, fiber, and 18 amino acids. They support immune function, promote eye health (due to high zeaxanthin), protect skin from UV damage, and assist in regulating blood sugar. They have a sweet-tart flavor and are eaten dried as a snack, in trail mixes, oatmeal, smoothies, or added to baked goods, salads, and soups.
