Awesome gold plated Selmer NY (Buescher) curved soprano with custom engraving...ready to restore. $1200

The serial number 85529 is most likely a Buescher number, which would place its date of manufacture in c.1921. It is low pitch, the desired tuning for modern use. It is keyed only up to high Eb, which is typical for sopranos of that era.

DEAL OF THE DAY - $300

It is the standard DV model. It has an elongated window. This mouthpiece has been worked on very lightly in the baffle area. The work was done by a very accomplished professional player and university saxophone professor.

This is an old one (from the late 1960's or early 70's), made out of aluminum. A lot of players like these better than the new plastic ones because they hold your reed on a perfectly flat surface.

It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition. The facing is perfectly smooth, and original. There are no tooth indentations on the beak. The rubber is a bit faded/discolored from age, but the logo is clear.

This one is stamped with a small "c" on the side. It has one ring up, and three down, with the Buffet logo in between. These are said to be made from Chedeville blanks. This mouthpieceis in excellent condition.

This is a first generation version of the "Jazz Model". It is made of hard rubber, not plastic. The JDX6 has a tip opening of. 075". This is a perfect entry level jazz mouthpiece. This mouthpiece is in very good used condition.

This piece was made by Runyon. This is, at first glance, a run of the mill plastic mouthpiece, but these are known to be quite good players. This mouthpiece is in excellent condition. The tip, and side rails are perfectly smooth, and original.

This is a fairly new one, with the knurled, barrel style screw heads. It is for a hard rubber Berg alto mouthpiece. This ligature is in very good condition. There are no cracks, and it has not been bent out of shape.
