I know we typically talk about cats here, but this road dawg needs your help! 🐾

Many of you know I recently announced that Nine Lives Motowear is closing. I still have some inventory left and 100% of profits from any remaining sales will go toward my dog Tank’s cancer treatment. Tank was just diagnosed with aggressive bone cancer, and the cost of surgery and chemo is steep, but I’m determined to give him the best shot and quality of life possible.

🧡❇️ Nine Lives Motowear Update 🧡❇️

thanks so much for continuing to follow and support Nine Lives Motowear. my name is Bridget and I launched the brand in 2021 after developing The Juliet Jacket for over a year. a lot has changed in the last year, so I wanted to provide some transparency and updates.

earlier in 2024 my health took a turn and I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease. I was bedridden for weeks and suffered chronic fatigue for months following my diagnosis. I’m in remission now, but my body and mind are still regaining strength and I have taken a huge step back from the brand to focus on my health and wellbeing, including turning down countless vendor opportunities at in-person events, which are crucial for sales.

changes in health make you reevaluate what’s important and while I have poured my heart into the brand, I’m honestly not sure where the future of Nine Lives Motowear stands. as I figure out what comes next, and since this is the season is reflection and gratitude, I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who has supported over the years. running a small business is such a journey and it often feels impossible without the support of friends, family, and community.

so while we haven’t been as active on social media this year, our online shop (ninelivesmotowear.com) is still up and running and every single item is currently on sale 🙏 we have also been developing a new product for over a year and really hope to see it through, sharing more in 2025.
