Had an interesting job recently… a client bought this old upright for their kids to start lessons. The cabinet was in pretty good shape but the interior had multiple issues, and the cost to repair and make it playable greatly exceeded the worth of the piano. The client opted to spend the money on another used piano that was in better shape, and turn this into a desk instead. I was happy to help clean out the case for the repurposing. I only had trouble lifting my arms for about three days after this job.
