Announcement from the CWC Pastoral Team and Local Board of Administration
Christ Wesleyan - SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19, CHANGE!
As revival spreads across our country, our churches, and our hearts, God has inspired a HUGE CHANGE to our plans for Sunday services this weekend. Please read this in full and share it with as many people in our congregation as you can, especially with those who don’t have access to internet communication.
There will be ONE SERVICE ONLY this weekend that will take place at the Milton Campus at 9:00am. This means that we are not holding any services at our Sunbury Campus, and there will only be one service at 9:00am at the Milton Campus. Why? We feel God impressing on our hearts the need to offer a very different worship experience this weekend, and we want to be all together! Both campuses and both services together in one service at 9:00am at the Milton Campus. Our Church Online Campus will still be available at 9:00am.
Come and hear powerful testimonies, life-changing miracles, and stories of revival that are happening in and through our staff and congregation! The worship order will look very different, and we can’t fully predict the timeframe… only to say that this one combined service will begin at 9:00am at the Milton Campus. You’re welcome to bring water and a snack with you if time is a concern. Prepare your heart for the unexpected and the miraculous! As the staff and local board of CWC have prayed and prepared this week, we are eagerly anticipating a powerful day of worship, prayer, and healing!
Families with small children or teens should know that there will not be any CWC Kidz or Youth programming this Sunday, as we want each volunteer and our younger congregants to have the opportunity to be part of this amazing day together. All are welcome to attend the service. We realize that may present issues for certain families, so please know that this entire special service will be available live through Church Online and will be viewable afterward. Small groups or classes that would typically meet this Sunday morning should consider canceling or rescheduling to make attendance at this combined service possible. On-campus ASL ministry will be available for the hearing impaired during this 9:00am service.
Families and friends that can carpool will also help in the anticipated crowded parking lot. We will be providing overflow seating in the Milton Youth Center, the Well Coffee House, and some of our foyer spaces where you can see and hear the service.
Again, please share this with those who don’t have internet access. We realize this is short notice and it can present certain challenges, but we feel through this act of obedience to God’s voice, we will experience a blessing that has the potential to change us forever and advance the Kingdom! Where there are concerns, join us in replacing them with extra prayer as we lean into this move of God! This week: ONE SERVICE. ONE CAMPUS. ONE CHURCH!
