I made this suncatcher as a gift for one of my favorite Taylor Swift fans! I based the pattern on Taylor Swift's "Lover" album art. This project has some of the TINIEST pieces I've ever worked with 🔍 I mean just look at the collar on that shirt, smaller than a fingernail clipping 🤯🤩

My very first leaded stained glass panel has been installed into a door and delivered to New Hampshire!! What an absolute thrill when you get to see months of hard work come together and light up the room 😍

Original design, over 400 pieces, 5/32" lead came, 35.5" x 27". Took about 8 months from starting the concept drawing to delivery. This was my first time working with lead, first installation piece, and first time making anything anywhere near this big! 🥰

There are so many people to thank for helping us achieve this feat! Firstly none of this would have happened if my cousin Melissa hadn't had faith in us and giving us the opportunity to create this beautiful piece of art for her home, and for that we'll forever be grateful! We also want to extend the biggest thank you in the world to Dave Stetson at White Chapel Joinery for working with us and doing an incredible job on installing this panel into a door. An enormous thank you to both Lliam Perkins-Amero and Kendall Noke for helping us with the transportation that made the install and delivery possible!! All the gratitude in the world goes to the friends and family that made all this possible, we couldn't have done it without you!! 💓

🏞️ Watermelon Mountain Range 🏞️
This is a custom commission for our dear friends Mitchell and Stephanie! They wanted a piece to commemorate the joining together of their lives, incorporating elements from their home states into one scene in front of the beautiful Watermelon Mountains that they were surrounded by during their wedding. This gorgeous sunset scene features an iconic Florida beach replete with flamingos, as well as the New Mexico state flower, the Yucca. Floating in over the stunning Watermelon Mountain range we have two hot air balloons representing each state backed with a stunning gradient sky.

This piece is approximately 12"x12", Tiffany style featuring copper overlay detailing, framed in lead came.

We loved this project so much, working with multiple concepts and marrying them together in this almost surrealist scene was a delight. It nourishes our souls to make art for people as a way for them to express their love to each other and the world 💓

We're very excited to announce that we've branched into portrait work! Lilly took a break from a large commission to pop out this Pop Art style self portrait, however we're happy to approach any styles at all. Custom pet or people portraits are welcomed!

We'll soon be adding some new items to our shop at www.knofferglassworks.com, and our commission submission (say that five times fast!) forms can be found there as well.
