FREE CRYSTAL HIKE #4 2026
Phillips Creek Trail Head Spokane Valley.
Today we place 150 GORGEOUS Vanadanite Crystal Clusters along this stunning trail.
I picked this trail because there is plenty of tree coverage for shade. But this also will be a seek and find , because there are alot of trees and rock out cropping to look around.
This trail is moderate to harder just because of the steady incline the 1.15 mile out. Round trip it is 2.25 miles. All down on the way back. I did not do the whole trail in and out.
INSTRUCTIONS: From the parking lot take the first trail to your right. This is a little cut off trail to the main trail. When at upper main trail hang a right. Stay on the MAIN trail. So at the first junction stay to the left. Follow the MAIN trail all the way until you come to Phillips Creek crossing the trail. Right now it is just a tiny bit of water. When you come to a junction sign thst says Flying J this is where you stop!! Atleast for collecting. If you want to explore the rest of the trail please feel free to do so.
IF YOU MAKE IT ALL THE WAY TO THE JUNCTION: Somewhere in this area is a HUGE Vanadanite cluster. It is impressive. Please know that when I do these hikes i am not actually hiding anything I am just placing it so please do not dig holes or damage the area looking. If you seek you shall find. If you find it Stone Crazy would love to see pictures.
All of the Vanadanite I placed at the base of trees, in tree bark, sitting on limbs, around the base of rocks. A little of everywhere. I did not stray more then about 20 feet from the trail.
PLEASE ONLY TAKE ONE. You are welcome to look for more and just high-grade or upgrade as you go leaving the one you don't want behind. These hikes are not about trying to find as many as you can. They are about getting you out to connect with nature and each other. Enjoying the beautiful surroundings that we have right in our backyard. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL OF THE LAND AND THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES THAT BORDER THESE TRAILS.
These hikes are free you can go on your own schedule. Just please enjoy your time!

If Opal get your blood pumping like they do mine. You will want to come down and check out these gorgeous new pendants for yourself of a loved one. I have personally polished each one out of the rough Opal we brought into the store. Even though polishing opals is challenging and slow, it is a labor of love. The middle one is the largest Opal I have ever polished with out fracturing it. Weighing a wopping 45 carts. It is stuuuuuuuning! Come down to the shop this weekend and check them out. They won't last long.

HIKE #3. OF 2026. GLENROSE TRAIL
(Dishman conservation area) This trail is absolutely stunning and I am still in shock that it is in our backyard. Stone Crazy has place about 150 Tangerine Quartz Crystals on the stunning loop that is just over one mile. The trail is moderate for hiking easy in most spots, with slight elevations in others. The trail is dirt but well packed. We placed these absolutely amazing crystals at the base of trees.. along the edge of the trail... im tree bark... So look all over. When you get on the trail and come to the first Y in the trail take the left that leads down. This trail will take you through an beautiful field that overlooks all of spokane even downtown. The trail will come to another split on the other side of the field. Take the right and follow the trail. It will go in one large loop that leads all the way back to the parking lot. ( refer to pictures if you are unsure) This is a great trail for all ages. These hikes are free. All we ask is that you are respectful of the land and surrounding communities. The intention on these hikes are to get you out and grounding in nature and connecting with one another.
