The Hippie Stomper

Boy did this fly challenge me! I found it to be harder to tie than the Stimulator. Every once in a while, a fly or technique comes along that pushes your limits as a tyer, this was one of those flies for me. It took me three flies to finally get one tied correctly.

The first fly I forgot to tie in the rubber legs😆

The second fly, I crowded the eye and couldn’t even tie the fly off 😢

Finally, on the third fly everything came together😎

This fly may be a bit different than the standard. I added some purple crystal flash to the tail.
