Shave Ice BB-8! 🧡🍧🧡....
We had no idea how we were going to make this gigantic shave ice dude. We also had a hard tome figuring out what local treats to decorate him with! Eric came up with the great idea of using foam - which let us light him up from the inside after ✨....
I decided on sour belts and li hing mui for his orange and grey parts, a bitten poi malasada for his eye ball, and a big straw for his antenna. ....
I wanted it to look like the porgs were putting him together. ....
I made the li hing mui out of Daiso air dry clay and painted it. The sour belts are paper bags painted and glittered up. Poi malasada is foil, a sponge, and air dry clay, painted. ....

I hope you enjoy the WIP, I didn’t take any video since I was watching the while making him. After the first episode I just screamed out “Ahhh! I have to make him!!!” 😱😍....
He’s going to be on display at our Honolulu City Hall Xmas Tree (Oahu, HI), he’ll hopefully be there all month once we finish this week. ....
I used foil, Hearty air dry clay, and acrylic paint. Wrapped him in a brown towel. Now I have my very own Baby Yoda 💚💚💚....

Aloha! Long time no see everyone one! A lot has happened over the past few months... and I’ll explain a bit... but first a sneak peek! 👀....
These high quality washi tape were made in Japan have been in the works for many months! They arrived right after Christmas 😅 but that’s ok! ....
I’ll have the grand reveal on Sunday on my website and in my locker at Mapunapuna. Yay! Also thank you to for helping me make this happen ❤️....
I can’t wait to share them with you guys! I’m already using it in my new year ....
In other news.......
So! I’ve decided to go back to college! 😱 haha I surprised even myself with this decision because I swore I was done with school 😂. Life always changes and I’m actually terrified and excited to start this new journey. I’ll be going for my BA in Music (I play saxophone 🎷) ....
I made myself take an extended break from my business to focus on preparing for school (registering, practicing, and school stuff). It’s been over 6 years since I was in school! 🙈 I start on Monday so I’m sleeping in and vegging out because I have 7:30am classes 😂😭....
Depending on how much time and energy I have after homework, practicing, time with the family, exercising, military duty, gigging, and maybe sleep... well, it doesn’t seem like a whole lot of time leftover... haha! As you can see, I’ll be spread pretty thin, so my business will be on the back burner for a bit. I’ve really missed you all and missed crafting! I wrote a blog about everything on my website, but I just didn’t have the heart to put it on IG until now. ....
I hope you guys will keep enjoying my and other designs! ....

I need another frame to continue the collection.. there’s still lots missing lol! Some of these designs never made it past prototype production, some have evolved many times, and some were from special collabs.....
It’s so cool to see the progression from my first star to my most current stars... they’ve come a long way. I can especially see differences in Lilninja Stars that I remake every year. This really inspires me to keep growing and learning 💪🏻 I hope we all keep growing as artists and inspire each other ❤️....
