Where would we be without Mason?

When I came in this morning, the door was still locked. Thankfully, Mason gave us a call and we got it sorted out quickly!

Community is all about picking each other up and helping one another out. We are so grateful Mason was there to save the day.

Stop by and see us today until 3pm -OR- next Tuesday through Friday during normal hours after the holiday.

Assuming I remember to unlock the door.. 😅

There’s nothing quite like watching a dad share something he loves with his kid. Tyler and his son Hank (aka “Hank the Tank”) gave us that moment when they kicked off our community Pokemon Yellow play-through.

We were starting to wonder if it was ever going to happen!

Here is how our community play works:

(1) One save file, no new games.

(2) Pick up where the last player left off and keep building our team together.

We wanna be the very best, like no one ever was, and we need YOU to make it happen.

Every dad in here has a game, a song, or a memory they cannot wait to pass down. This is your chance.

Bring your kid and let’s build something together.

See you soon.

Ryan Wilman is a key player in downtown Milan, offering mixed drinks, coffee, craft beer and more at The Owl, Morning 'til Night, but there’s much more to Ryan than his business.

Community is what we’re all about.

Sharing skills and easing each other’s burdens is an amazing thing. That’s why we want to give a huge shoutout to our friend Mike and his wife, who came by before we opened to install classic Windows 98 games and get everything running disc-free. Mike’s passion for preserving gaming history and building rock-solid machines like these has been an amazing asset to us. A secret weapon, in fact!

Thanks to them, you’ve been enjoying titles like The Sims, StarCraft, and more. We’re so grateful, Mike and family!

We give you “The Hall of Awkward.”

Bad haircuts, nightmare-inducing mascots, and family photos that should’ve stayed in the drawer. Now on display. Enjoy.

The number one question we get when people hear about our 60,000 game library is “do you have Pac-Man?”

Our answer? No. We do not have Pac-Man.

Joking, of course. Do we have it? Yeah. Is the original version made for home consoles any good? Not exactly..

Pac-Man on the Atari 2600 was SO bad it literally helped crash the entire video game industry. The developer was given just a few months to code it, so why are we surprised that it wasn’t exactly excellent? Nice going, corporate America. Millions of unsold copies were buried in the New Mexico desert. Like a funeral. For a video game. There is a documentary about it. We won’t spoil the ending, but the desert does not lie.

We actually prefer Ms. Pac-Man or Jr. Pac-Man, which are both way more fun AND prove that the Atari 2600 could do a lot more than people thought.

Feeling adventurous? Check out Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures — one of the strangest games ever made, featuring our all-time favorite genre of comedy: cartoon characters both paragliding AND screaming for unclear reasons.

People also ask about Frogger a lot.

We do not have Frogger.

In all seriousness — the Frogger sequel on Game Boy Color is actually quite a bit better. Multiple worlds, cool terrain, collectible diamonds, and just enough challenge to keep things interesting. We recommend that one. Honestly, it’s a perfect GameBoy game.

Now “waka waka” your way over and have some fun! 🤡
