Urgent help needed!
The PTSA Student Club was in the midst of an Easter basket Collection drive for the Midvale Family Homeless shelter when school was closed.
We need your help to finish this drive and donate completed baskets to the shelter. Baskets were due April 3rd but we would like to get them delivered ASAP.
We are still in need of 10 baskets for 8-12 year olds - any gender and 10 baskets for 13-17 year olds - any gender.
Complete baskets would be best given the current best practices for keeping Healthy. Walmart, Winco, Target and other stores have great options in the $15 to $20 range.
If you can help... Please IM or email Julie Cluff. [email protected]
You can make the baskets as intricate as you would like and can include items such as games, toys, books, stuffed animals, candy, snack food, art supplies, school supplies, hygiene supplies, etc. in the baskets. For example, in a basket for a 14 year old girl you could put a book, some makeup, candy and some fun socks and snacks. $5 to $10 Gift Cards to restaurants around the shelter and school would be great fill ins as well.
Really, anything would be awesome! There are some no-no items that the shelter asks not be included: gum, silly putty, slime, microwave popcorn, scissors, and any toys that resemble weapons.
