A good friend forwarded an article published by Utrecht University and Wageningen University concerning research conducted on LED pulses in the greenhouse. The article basically lends credence to what we have seen in field research on our Pulsed Xenon Lights over the past several years. This research is based on a well-known photosynthetic process called hormesis.
Our light provides full-spectrum that pulses beyond visible far-red light with very little energy consumption. LEDs only provide visible light in the far-red spectrum, whereas Xenon spectrum mimics sunlight and pulsing stimulates hormesis.
The study reviewed the findings using LED lights in the greenhouse. Our fixtures have added Pulsed Xenon light which have been shown from the third-party Light Lab analyst to provide 60% of the light in the far-red spectrum.
It is exciting to see researchers returning to prior findings to understand more fully how to improve plant outcomes. I am excited to bring solutions to growing problems with our Pulsed Xenon fixtures.

It is our first Christmas with our lights producing plants for the Christmas Market season. Our customer was excited to show us the results and we are excited to share them!

The PXL technology uses from 30-80% less energy than existing horticulture lighting. Xenon light provides full-spectrum light to the plant. The pulse penetrates the leaf strata 80 times per minute, supercharging the plant.
