These Black Cat Candles are only about 3 inches tall, but they make for the perfect altar decor or spell work with both Bast and Freyja.
Freya's chariot was pulled by two blue cats. Thor found them being cared for by a tomcat who complained about being a single male parent. He asked Thor if he know any women who could handle taking care of them. Thor immediately thought of Freyja. After seven years of faithful service, she turned them into witches disguised as black cats. Hence where black cats as familiars come from.
Bast (Bastet) is the Goddess of Warfare, much the same as Freyja, but in Lower Egypt. Her Upper Egypt counterpart is Sekhmet, a lioness, later became Bastet, the cat, and was seen more as a protector in later years. She is also, obviously, the patron of cats.
These are NOT loaded or fixed. These candles are 3 oz and burn for approx 2-8 hours.
