SIGN OF A STROKE:
Carla tripped and fell during grilling. I offered to call an ambulance, but she assured everyone she was okay and only tripped over her new shoes. She was a little pale and wobbly; she was helped to clean up and was brought another plate of food. Carla spent the rest of the evening happy and joyful.
Carla's husband later called to say his wife had been taken to the hospital. Carla died at 11pm that night. She had a stroke while grilling. If her friends knew how to interpret the signs of a stroke, Carla might still be alive today. Some people don't die right away. They often stay in a desperate situation.
It only takes 1 minute to read the following... A neurologist said that if he can intervene on a stroke victim within 3 hours, he could reverse the effects. He said the trick would be to recognize a stroke, to diagnose and treat patients within 3 hours, but that's not easy.
Recognizing a stroke: there are four stages to recognize a stroke.
-Ask the person to smile (they won't).
-Ask the person to pronounce a simple sentence (for example: "It's very nice today. ").
-Ask the person to raise both arms (she can’t or only partially).
-Asking the person to stick out their tongue (if the tongue is crooked, twist left and right, is also a sign of a stroke. )
If he or she has problems with one of these steps, call an ambulance immediately and describe the person's symptoms over the phone. A cardiologist said that if as many people as possible become aware of this, we can be certain that any life — maybe even our own — can be saved. We send a lot of “garbage” every day through the network, but sometimes you can get stuck with something significant, like this.
If it's this important to you... copy so it can reach more people who might change the fate of those affected by stroke...
COPY AND PASTE - please keep this going as I am a stroke survivor and knowing the signs saved my life!

This needs to be shared, needs to be read, and most importantly heard.

Sertraline- Zoloft
Venlafaxine- Effexor
Citalopram- Celexa
Mirtazapine-Remeron
Fluoxetine- Prozac
Duloxetine- Cymbalta
Seroquel- Quetiapine
Lamictal- Lamotrigine
Lexapro- Escitalopram
Wellbutrin- Bupropion
Lorazepam- Ativan
Klonopin- Clonazepam
Abilify - aripiprazole
Tegrotal - carabamezipine
Buspar - buspirone

You may know what these tablets are or know a loved one who takes them, but in case you don't, I will fill you in. That medication allows people to deal with a normal day to day life. Although most days it leaves them tired, spaced out, emotionless, or even super emotional.

Crazy right? Why would anyone want to feel like that?

Well this is why!!

You see, some people suffer from severe depression and anxiety.
In their brain it doesn't sit right, something seems different. They notice little differences that other people wouldn't. Most days they wake up sick and feel sleepless.

They consistently overthink every situation.
Was a comment about them; was it a joke?
Was that person supposed to laugh?
Or did they mean it?
Are they being nice?
Are they talking about them?
Do they talk about them?
They then think, I bet they don’t like me really.

They say sorry all the time. They feel like they annoy everyone.
And for all those questions they will spend hours trying to answer. Let it all build up in their mind, until it sends them to tears...... it's mental that they see things that way.

It's not only mental changes, but physical changes. They don't eat a lot or they eat way too much. Insomnia, up all night answering questions to situations that don't even exist, or sleep too much and waste half their day still feeling tired.

They still smile and they have every excuse for when you ask why.
But the tablets can help them. Because they know when they start to feel this way or think this way, they need help.

They know that when their behavior starts to change, They need guidance. And they understand that they don't need to be ashamed. They don't need to be understood. They just need to be accepted. Everyone is fighting a battle and sometimes you need to be kinder.

So I may just be another person who's talking about mental health....

Living with this illness is hard, but trying to understand it, is even harder. It’s also 100 times harder if they have another condition on top of this.

Don't suffer in silence.

Mental health is just as important as physical health.

Be part of the healing.💙
Be understanding.💙
Be kind. 💙

💙 Copied and pasted.💙

Sometimes don’t even try to understand, just simply love that person, support them, and be there when they need you. Some people in my life have truly mastered this, and for you I will forever be grateful!

Whatever you do don’t go to Firehouse Subs today at; 28 Raiford Dr. NW Concord, NC 28027. My husband and I just left there. I ordered an Italian sub whole wheat, baked barbecue chips, and a drink. I repeatedly told Brandi the young lady that took my order I wanted whole wheat and baked barbecue chips. My husband ordered Pastrami on white with yellow mustard only. There was only one other person in the whole place. It took forever to get our subs with three ladies working behind the counter and one man wondering around looking for my barbecue chips while talking on his phone. We finally got our subs after 20-25 minutes and mine was on white bread and I guess the guy never found my chips, my husbands Pastrami had the sweet hot mustard on it and couldn’t eat it after saying repeatedly nothing but yellow mustard. We went to get our drinks after they finally remade my sandwich ( my husband didn’t even want to mention anything about his) he just tried scrapping off what he could and the drink machine was out of ice!!! We never complain about anything but with the price of things now I just want to warn anyone else that might come today. We have always had great service at the one in Kannapolis. It’s well worth the trip. My husband and I will never return to this one again!!!
