Did you miss the paperback opening? No worries, the Grand Opening will be on Sunday, June 7th at 11am. Park at the town municipal building behind 24 W. Main St. Unit C Middletown, DE. I’ve partnered with other small businesses and authors to make the day even more magical. I will be releasing their info leading up to the event. I guess I now know why that “found family” is my favorite trope… I am so thankful so many of you have become family and good friends during the journey of finding myself again. You all truly are the light on some dark days and outside of my immediate family, the ones I now know that I can rely on. My hope is that you too have found your “chosen family” and a place of acceptance, unhinged conversations that make you giggle, with a sprinkle of mush that makes you feel that you belong.

I am excited to announce that our “soft opening” for the brick-and-mortar will be book club night - our first at the shop. I’m nervous, thankful, and so excited to show you all the space! Come immerse yourself in Wisp, The Road of Bones, and a great night together.

This month there will be changes on the schedule due to holidays, personal life events, and moving from the mobile bookshop to the brick-and-mortar. Today, 5/9, I’ll be opening the shop, but then I’ll be leaving for my aunts funeral and services. Thanks to amazing friends who have become family, they will be closing the shop. This community has become my happy and safe place, I hope you all feel the same way. Speaking of community, I am happy to announce that our book club (celebrating, , The Road of Bones) will be at the brick-and-mortar! This event will not only be the first book club here, but will also serve as my “soft-opening!” As a book club member, I couldn’t think of a better way to host my first “public” opening. Having you all part of this journey has been so special to me. I am so thankful for you all and can’t wait to show you all the space. Lastly, save the date for the official grand opening of Wisp’s brick-and-mortar on June 7th — Delaware’s first fantasy-only indie bookshop for all ages and Middletown’s very first indie bookshop. More magical details to come soon and I hope to see you soon!

We PASSED all inspections and the Grand Opening will be this month! Finalizing dates and more announcements will follow. Tickets for bookclub will be going out soon when I figure out logistics on a few more things. I appreciate all your love, support, and grace during this busy transition period

This weekend I’m away at the book retreat, but a bestie/book club member in our community, Adrianna, is holding down the mobile shop! Normal hours both Saturday and Sunday 10a-3p. Hope you all have a great weekend!
