We have a busy week between the farmhouse, the market, and the studio, so let me catch you up!
We will be in the studio (LL3 at the Pendleton Art Studios Middletown) Wednesday through Friday this week because Saturday we will be set up at MOAM Presents: Homegrown Harvest market from Noon to 5PM. The Middletown Open Air Market is just 2 blocks away from the studio and across the street from Gravel Road Brewing Co. in downtown Middletown. (For GPS, use 916 1st Ave.) We love that our life is literally 95% within 4 blocks of this world! Saturday's market will host a community food drive which we will in turn hand over to local food pantries, so please consider bringing some donations. We will also have the Rich Dunn Cancer Foundation there selling raffle tickets to a brand new Jeep to fundraise for their good cause.
In other news, here are new things you'll find at the studio this week: our Oatmeal Walnut Raisin Date Chocolate Chip cookies (could I pack any more in there???), a gorgeous new square planter stand upcycled of clear and green glass, our adorable little ceramic cows, some funny new farm/outdoor-inspired garden and home signs, and some fun kitchen and farm-inspired earrings...and I had to show off the ceramic mushroom plaque that I painted this week. I should also mention that our Pumpkin Cinnamon Chip Cookies are back for the season!!!! These sell out at our events, so stop in and get some to see what the buzz is about.
Find us at the market on Saturday. Gigi is introducing a new bread (Carrot Apple Zucchini), and I harvested some Illkomban Eggplant from the garden today, the tomatoes are coming in, and we'll have some fresh herbs.
Also....we are in very early planning stages of hosting a winter market at the Pendleton before the end of the year, so stay tuned!!!!
