New on our local author shelf:

From Leslie Soto, THE LOVE THAT MADE YOU is a poetic meditation on love’s many forms—how it begins, how it breaks, and how it makes us new. Honest, tender, and deeply human, this is a collection for anyone learning to hold both grief and grace at once.

And in DANCING AROUND THE TRUTH, author Christine Jacobsen grapples with questions about race, her family, and her sense of belonging in this true story about her quest to find her ancestral roots.

Copies of both books are available in store now.

This week, we're adding two new mystery novels to our Local Author shelf from news reporter and editor Christopher Mele.

His latest book, “The Truth Is in the Ashes,” is set in the fictional village of Goodwill and tells the story of newsman Alex Provetto, who is drawn into solving a series of suspicious fires at an abandoned, once-grand resort hotel. However, personal and professional entanglements get in the way of his desires to nail the scoop and uncover the truth. The more that he searches for answers, the greater the threat grows to his reputation, his career — even his life.

This novel follows another Adirondacks-based mystery by Mele, “Goodwill’s Secrets” (2024).

Signed copies of both books are available in store now!

Just a few of our latest arrivals, all in gently used condition.

We get new books in daily and are constantly updating our shelves -- we just don't always have a chance to post our new arrivals before they go out the door again! The best way to see what's new is to stop in and browse in person!

Looking for something in particular? Send us a DM and we'll let you know if it's in stock. If not, we'd be happy to order it for you!

No deadlines or prizes, just fun and adventure, all while supporting small businesses here in the Hudson Valley.

And yes, it also comes with a tote!
