Meadow Ridge Farm is a Christmas tree farm in Middlesex, Vermont. We provide saws and tree netting free of charge.

We offer choose-and-cut balsam fir trees, as well as pre-cut trees for quick, convenient pick-up. We also have fresh wreaths and centerpieces available, as well as complimentary hot chocolate, coffee and cookies.

As of 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, we are closed for the 2025 season. We’re hugely grateful that so many friends and customers visited to choose and cut a tree this year—the weather cooperated and we hope you had as much fun as we did. The 2025 Season is almost here...

Meadow Ridge Farm will be opening Friday, November 28, for the 2025 season! We'll be open weekends after that as long as our supply of trees lasts. Who knows if the snow will last, but as you can see it's looking pretty wintery in the field right now!

As always, we have thousands of trees to choose from in all shapes and sizes up to 9-10 feet. We provide saws for cutting your tree and twine for tying it onto your car. And we have free cookies and hot chocolate!

As of 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, we are closed for the 2024 season. A huge thank you to all of the many friends and customers, old and new, who came to the farm to pick out a tree this year! The 2024 Season is Upon Us! Meadow Ridge Farm will be opening for the season on the Friday after Thanksgiving (11/29). We'll be open weekends after that as long as we have trees available. Our hours are 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Here's a photo taken a week or two back when we got a dusting of snow--hopefully the white stuff will be returning soon! Hope to you at the farm.

This is a post we very much did not want to make, but unfortunately Meadow Ridge Farm is now closed for the 2023 season.

Due in part to a strong first weekend of sales, but mostly due to the number of trees we lost during this summer's rains/flooding, we have sold all the trees we can sell this year. We spent the last couple of days surveying the field and pondering this decision, and came to the conclusion that in order to ensure we have plenty of trees available in the future, we need to stop cutting this year.

As anyone in agriculture will tell you, this has been a tough year in Vermont. Not just in terms of hard work and crop losses, but also in terms of leaving customers disappointed. We're sorry to have had such a short season, but this will allow us to be back and better than ever next year.

It's Christmas tree time!

Meadow Ridge Farm will be opening Friday, November 24, for the 2023 season! We'll be open weekends after that as long as our supply of trees lasts.

As always, we have thousands of trees to choose from in all shapes and sizes up to 9-10 feet. We provide saws for cutting your tree and twine for tying it onto your car. And we have free cookies and hot chocolate!

If you've been to Meadow Ridge Farm before, you'll notice a few changes this year. Like many Vermont farms, we felt the impact of all the rain and flooding this summer. We feel blessed that the damage wasn't worse, as we know so many others were impacted more severely. We did lose some trees, but only a fraction of the losses experienced by others. Sensing that this extreme weather is here to stay, we worked throughout the late summer and into the fall installing drainage in part of the field and in the parking area -- it was a big project! (See some photos here.) While everything is mostly put back together (some photos of the field now are included too), you'll see some areas of the field that are roped off (though all trees are accessible and available!). We apologize for any inconvenience and our fingers are crossed for dry weather during the coming weekends!

We are sold out of choose-and-cut trees for the 2022 season! As of noon on Dec. 4, we have closed the field to cutting for this year. We do currently have a handful of pre-cut trees still available, though not sure how long they will last. Thank you to everyone for a great 2022 season, even if the weather hasn't been very Christmas-like! Here's hoping for some snow. Thank you again and hope to see you all next year, The White Family.

We had a great day today at Meadow Ridge Farm, but last week’s melting snow, yesterday’s rain and today’s sunny warm weather combined to soften up the parking area. We wanted to let anyone planning to come tomorrow (Sunday Nov. 27) know that they should expect some mud in the parking lot.
