Hello all
I understand there are two sides to each story, but what would be the defense to try to stick your partner with the full $50k of the debt that your business acquired!! I have kept quiet since the day rick walked out of our store!! Yes, HE WALKED OUT OF THE STORE!! Before I “locked” him out, I asked him two times what he was doing, via texts. He took a full day to respond, but he wouldn’t tell me what he was doing with the business!! So yes I changed the locks. He had even took his mop bucket with him when he left (who the hell takes a mop bucket??), so I figured he wasn’t coming back!! I was right in securing the business, because in one of his own texts he had mentioned he could have cleaned out the safe and the rest of the money out of the business if he really wanted to. I was protecting me and the business from him!! It’s funny, he likes to cry I locked him out of his business, that Store was open from 10-9 every day till the day we closed. At Any time he could have walked in, but he didn’t. He just needed an excuse to walk out, and me yelling at him was just that, because he could care less of what we had built. You don’t have a fill in for yourself on a holiday weekend to cover you working the store, that doesn’t even know what Guinness is, if you care about that business!! Owners don’t act that way, employees that don’t give a s**t do things like that!! He’s the one telling our customers the store was more of a hobby, than a business!! Btw, 37 hours total was the most he would work at his own Store!! After that, it was like pulling teeth!!
After he left, i worked that Store with the help of Aunt Cheryl and Adam for a month till we shut down. I then worked another 3 weeks to shut down the store, with the help of my family and friends!! Thank You to all, I couldn’t have done it without You!! Btw, my Aunt Cheryl treated that Store like it was her own business, 100% more than my so-called partner ever did!! I was working 12-14hrs a day, 7 days a week, seeing my family 10 hours A WEEK!! My health and family life declined. I lost 15lbs in a week and a half. I had to go to the hospital because my acid reflux was so bad i couldn’t drink a glass of water!! Through all of that, i didn’t take a damn dime!! Till the point i had my electricity shut off at my home!! Let me tell you, one of the lowest points of my life!! Looking into the eyes of my wife with her total anger and disappointment!! The classic was, I was begging the Mexican place down the street to buy some of our leftover Mexican beer when i got that call!! To say I’m angry is an understatement!! Especially now, after my lawyer has contacted him on his obligations and the deadline for rick to respond has past!! So once again he has proven, THAT THIS WAS ALWAYS MY DREAM, NOT HIS!! The sad thing is, what could have been for the BeerRun, if I had a partner that actually realized that this was his business!! Thanks for nothing rick!!
Yes this is long, and this may do nothing but make me feel better, but I have 50 thousand reasons to post this!!
