Tomorrow is the day to be at Sunset Resort! Weather is going to be amazing! Almost 90 degrees during the day, so come enjoy a day on the water then stay for the evening under the stars!

New Summer In-House Surface water quality testing results are now available. These results are also displayed on a map on our website, along with updates on weather conditions, water flow, and E. coli counts for popular sites throughout Bandera County. ⁠

E. coli is a bacteria found in the gut of warm-blooded animals and is known to cause illness in humans if ingested potentially. No primary contact recreation should take place if the number of E. coli exceeds 399 most probable number (MPN) per 100 mL of water. This standard is set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) in the Texas Administrative Code (30 TAC §307.7).⁠

This means no one should participate in activities that could result in the total submersion of the head underwater if counts exceed the 399 MPN standard.⁠
⁠
There is ALWAYS a possibility of infection from E. coli or other waterborne illnesses. Never drink or ingest river water without proper disinfection; always swim at your own risk.⁠

A little change up this weekend! The boat ramp will open EARLY at 6:30 am tomorrow and stay open for launching and take offs until 9 pm!
Sunday's hours are 7 am - 6 pm for launching with gates closing at 8 pm.
Come enjoy a sunset at the lake or a little sunset fishing!

Food Truck this Sunday at the resort!

Quick reminder, next 🗓️Sunday, Aug. 3rd we will have The Twisted Texican onsite for lunch🌮! Come enjoy a day on the lake 🚤 before school 📝starts!

Here is the schedule for that day:
Boat Launch Open ($25/kayak and $35/boat) 7 am - 12 noon, 1:30 - 8 pm.
Twisted Texican serving mouth watering plates from 11:30 am - 2:30 pm
WHCC Youth Devotional & Baptism on the boat ramp - 12:30 sharp
Kayak and SUP Rental onsite from Wallys Watersports / Crandall's Ski & Wakeboard School

Open to everyone, we just ask that you leave your pets at home for this event. Also, no outside food or picnics, The Twisted Texican has a great assortment for all to enjoy! Invite your neighbors!
