Growth is inevitable…and watching it happen in real time, is truly awe-inspiring! Adding plants to my vintage collection has been a game changer…it’s like the icing on top of the cupcake, a beautiful combination!

My next shop space will be drenched in so much natural sunlight light, it’ll be dynamite…at least that’s what I am manifesting!

A girl can dream right? Until then…

Good morning and Happy Monday to you my Vintage-Loving friends! It’s tagging day at Good News…peppering in piles of 80s fashion to the mix! It’s so surreal to see the stuff I was wearing decades ago…I love it!

Ahhhhh Sunday! I am certainly ready to slow down today…yesterday was a bit much.

Boat races, block party…So many people just trying to stay out of the rain…and sooooo many people…I mean, SO many just wanting to use my restroom. Which is also used as a dressing room. So. It can get a little messy if and when people don’t ask…and just start opening doors.

After finally sitting down last night, I get an email saying I received a google review.
Someone left a 2 star rating. Stating that I cussed her family out for using the bathroom and that I should put a sign on the door if I did not want people to use it🙃 OF COURSE, that did NOT happen…and then she also stated that my prices were way too high.

I was so pissed…but then I got over it.

This shop is magical, the energy is pure…
and the restroom is now for customers only!

So much is happening today…so, here is your yearly reminder…There will be some parking limitations on Franklin Street today. It will be shut down at 3:30pm for the super-boat parade…scheduled at 6pm.

After seeing everything I have seen…in ten years of being a tenant, in downtown Michigan City…I continue to see the untapped potential. I continue to see through a lens that shows me a neighborhood made up of hard-working, extra-small business owner/operators that have earned the right to do business in a safe, thriving environment. Because if it’s not…why would we stay? It’s literally an everyday conversation around here…
