Star City Booksellers Star City Booksellers is an independent bookstore in the heart of Miamisburg, Ohio. Star City Booksellers is co-owned by Stephanie and Steve Johnson.

Stephanie was a former Eighth Grade American History teacher at Miamisburg Middle School and is currently instructing pre-service teachers at the University of Dayton. Steve is a Battalion Chief at the Miami Valley Fire District and a member of Ohio Task Force 1. Owning an independent bookstore is a dream come true for both of them, and they are beyond excited to share their passion for books with the community!

Let us help you plan your weekend! Not only did we get a fresh shipment of books in, but we are also hosting local physician and author Dr. Sunita Reddy tomorrow who will be signing and discussing her novel, “Before We Were Women.” She has been featured in the Dayton Daily News, NPR, and she is AMAZING! Dr. Reddy will be in the store Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 3-5 PM. Hope you can make it!

The shelves are overflowing with new books! Stop in from 12-5 PM today to get yourself something fun to read over the weekend. Speaking of the weekend, tomorrow we are hosting Buckeye Mouse Travel by Staci who will answer any questions you may have about planning a Disney trip along with a prize raffle.
