Alesa's Inspirations Handmade items for babies and children such as stuffed toys, dolls, wash cloths, hooded bath towels, I dedicate this page and my shop to her.

My shop offers baby gift items handmade by me such as hooded bath towels, wash cloths, and burp cloths, and stuffed cuddly animals as well as gift sets and baskets. I also include handmade dolls, quilts, blankets/comforters, fleece throws and if you don't see it, ask about it. The inspiration for my shop is my daughter, Alesa, who is severely mentally and physically disabled and brings a joy to my life that only a mother can imagine.

Just about a year after this picture was taken our sweet princess 👑 passed away. She still inspires me to do the best I can but her loss has left a large hole in my heart. I’m grateful for the team that helps to keep our shop full of beautiful quilts. Please help us by sharing with your friends. In just over 2 months our princess will have been gone 2 years and my heart still aches like it was yesterday. She was 30 yrs old…..27 years more than she was expected to live. 💖🌺💝. Apparently the other photo doesn’t want to play well so I deleted it.

Finished quilt front and back from 5 years ago when life was more fun 🌺. It will never be the same so I’m trying to get back into the game. I think I need to pray more and get those scriptures out more often. Oh my heart ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Creepy day yesterday evening when two of the pups pointed me toward the back of our large geranium pot and then I heard the rattling. I grabbed the leads and put them in the house and made a beeline to the shop to grab the hubs. It was long but pretty young and we ‘took care of it’ quickly. We have lived here over 20 years and this is the first rattler we’ve had. Hope it’s the last.

Not the first I have ‘taken care of’ as I grew up in desert country. I would prefer not to have them hanging out in my yard. First black rattler for me. Gives me the weeby jeebies!!

You may be tired of seeing similar photos of our night sky but I can’t get enough of them. I wonder why I never paid attention to them till lately. I’m sure it had to do with taking care of Alesa in the evenings with dinner, baths, bedtime ……. She came first…always. And I would do it all again no matter what it took to care for her. I’m sure she’s looking down at these beautiful night skies.

Pretty sunset last night….especially since days before we were surrounded by smoke. We couldn’t see the fire but we knew where it was and the smoke came over the mountains and sat here for 2 days. Just seems any more that something has to be “off.” We have had almost 2 years of feeling “off” and it started with our sweet Alesa. My how we miss her. She was my life.

This is Felix. One of my neighbors and I are cat sitting while “mom and dad” are elsewhere. He’s so sweet. He loves to make my dogs go off half crazy. He meets me nearly every morning and evening for his food and treats. We have our own alarm that goes off as soon as he is seen. 😜🥰💖

Let’s change that to ‘dogs’….they are our babies and I have to get up in the morning to care for them. Thank goodness for that. Alesa came first when she was with is. Now the pups come first, then Felix the cat, and then the birds.

Life can change in a split second….and it affects every part of our being. We miss our sweet girlie 💕💝💖😭
