Alesa's Inspirations Handmade items for babies and children such as stuffed toys, dolls, wash cloths, hooded bath towels, I dedicate this page and my shop to her.

My shop offers baby gift items handmade by me such as hooded bath towels, wash cloths, and burp cloths, and stuffed cuddly animals as well as gift sets and baskets. I also include handmade dolls, quilts, blankets/comforters, fleece throws and if you don't see it, ask about it. The inspiration for my shop is my daughter, Alesa, who is severely mentally and physically disabled and brings a joy to my life that only a mother can imagine.

Ohhh….the joys of growing old….I feel very blessed that except for my head, the rest of me rarely hurts. I think my head makes up for the lack of body pain. So grateful for over the counter pain relievers and a script for migraines.

I get lots of “info” on FB from fabric stores and sites. I couldn’t pass showing you this one. No, I’m not going to make this quilt but the entire pic is gorgeous for a little cowgirl. When I was young I was a cowgirl. I road my horse in the local gymkhanas and have the ribbons and trophies to prove it stashed away somewhere. What sports did you enjoy?

Not so stupid since Alesa passed away. Answer is mostly “probably not today” unless a miracle happens and I come back to my old self. I have studied enough to know I’m having the same effects that other mothers have when they lose a child. It will get better but we will never be the same as when they were with us. One lady said it took her 3 years to sit at the sewing machine
again. ‘Sigh’

Customers want a quilt and they buy. Then I package them and pull the sale up and try to get ready to print the label for the post office and red signs come up and say “ this is an incorrect address.” So you message the buyer and they may or may not even look at the messages. And this is what I’m dealing with today. Will she ever look at her messages?!?! Then they will wonder where the quilt is…. 😵‍💫 and be made cuz it hasn’t shipped.
