Celebrate weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, friends’ gatherings, corporate events, and life’s special moments with flowers you adore at prices you love. According to behavioral research conducted at Rutgers University, nature provides us with a simple way to improve emotional health: flowers. The presence of flowers triggers emotions of happiness, heightens feelings of life satisfaction, and affects social behavior in a positive and very meaningful manner. Their impact on our lives is far greater than what was previously thought. The study also states that, when it comes to receiving flowers, men and women are on the same playing field. It would appear that we all express extraordinary delight at receiving flowers, improving our social behavior.
1. All study participants expressed "true" or "excited" smiles upon receiving flowers, demonstrating extraordinary delight and gratitude. This reaction was universal, occurring in all age groups.
2. Flowers have a long-term positive effect on moods. Specifically, study participants reported feeling less depressed, anxious and agitated after receiving flowers, and demonstrated a higher sense of enjoyment and life satisfaction.
3. Flowers make intimate connections. The presence of flowers led to increased contact with family and friends. The study also explored how the location in which flowers are displayed might affect us. The arrangements were placed in areas of the home that are open to visitors - such as foyers, living rooms and dining rooms - suggesting that flowers are a symbol for sharing. The personal touches you add to your home make it uniquely yours. Whatever your style, flowers and plants are the perfect way to add beauty and warmth to your surroundings, as well as create a space that reflects your personality.
