✨ if you can’t tell from these cards, I’ve had a challenging few weeks. there are boundaries that I’ve set that are being crossed. but it’s not my own doing. there are forces outside of my control that have made this happen. and it’s been damn hard. it’s challenging me in ways I never thought. so much so that it often makes me think about “me” and what I have to offer the world. too often we get caught up in work and the rigor of mundane life and don’t notice the beauty around and within us. our lives are too short. you / we must listen to our gut and our heart more. stop living by others and outside forces. you can control you. you can’t control them ✨

Meet Eleggua (in Santeria), or Eshu (in the more traditional Nigerian Voodoo). He is an orisha of the crossroads, and a protector of humankind. Three of Wands. We aren’t yet complete in our spiritual journey. There’s yet another step to take. Or steps. What is it for you? For me, it’s taking that next leap into fully embracing it in my life. So much of my daily non-witchy life is built around anxiety, stress and nonstop communication that I often lose sight of what really matters. Of course work and making a paycheck is critically important. But there’s more to life than that. For me, I need to focus on more breaks, more breaths and more inward thought. I need to focus on the inner “me.” That’s my next very important step in my journey. What’s yours?
