One little bouquet trick I use all the time…
When I’m designing a bridal bouquet, I like to check it using my phone’s reverse camera (the selfie camera). It acts like a mirror and instantly gives me a fresh perspective.
When we’re creating a bouquet, we spend so much time looking at it from our side that our eyes can miss things. Seeing it reversed helps me notice gaps, flowers that feel too heavy on one side, stems that need adjusting, or areas that need a little more movement and balance.
It’s also much closer to how the bouquet will actually appear when the bride is holding it, in photos, and as guests see it throughout the day.
No reverse camera? A mirror works just as well. Sometimes all it takes is looking at your work from a different angle to spot exactly what needs tweaking.
It’s a small step, but it’s one of those little details that helps transform a bouquet from beautiful to bridal. 💐✨
Florists: do you use the mirror trick too, or do you have another design hack you swear by?
