STOP asking small businesses for discounts 👀
Let’s talk about it…
I know everybody loves a deal, but when you come to me asking for a discount on something that is CUSTOM made, it can feel a little disrespectful especially when you don’t see everything that goes into it.
Every bouquet, every detail, every add-on is done with intention. The customized ribbons, baby’s breath, initials, sayings… all of that takes time. Then there’s designing on my Cricut, going store to store to find the right materials, investing my own money into supplies, and sitting down to bring your vision to life.
This isn’t something I just throw together in 10 minutes.
What you’re paying for is not just the final product it’s the time, the creativity, the effort, the experience, and the care behind it.
And let’s be real for a second… if you truly support a business, you don’t try to negotiate their worth.
Support looks like paying the price without hesitation, sharing their work, recommending them to others, and respecting the time and effort they put in.
Especially when it comes to family and friends… that’s where it gets tricky. Some people expect discounts because of the relationship, but in reality, those should be the people supporting you the MOST.
I’m always grateful for the ones who understand and show genuine support 🤍 it never goes unnoticed.
So let’s talk… be honest 👇🏽
Do you think it’s okay to mix business with family and friends when it comes to pricing and discounts?
