Louisiana Fi****ms - ATF NFA Update
As of today, the federal court’s ruling in the Silencer Shop Foundation vs the ATF case is now officially in effect. In the 27 Free States which include Louisiana, suppressor purchases no longer require Form 4's, fingerprints, ATF wait times, or registration. A suppressor now transfers just like any other firearm: fill out a Form 4473 and pass a standard FBI NICS background check and walk out with your purchase, typically the same day.
