Hey everyone, I have some exciting news for all fans of Mesa Comics. While it is unfortunate that Mesa Comics is closing (last day is today), do not fret! Jonas and I are becoming part of the Amazing Discoveries family. We will both be at the Gilbert location.

For comic book subscribers, Amazing Discoveries is adding comics to their offerings and that means you will not see an interruption if you want to move your box there. If you are interested in moving, you can leave us a message via Facebook, call us (480-582-6642), or you can drop us an email at (girard(@)mesacomics.com).

For gamers, Amazing Discoveries is adapting the tournament schedule that we had at Mesa Comics. Also, Amazing Discoveries has just about every Magic card in stock, so it will be easy for you to fill out your decks on the spot.

Amazing Discoveries is excited to make a couple of big announcements. No not 7 new locations, but we will be expanding the AD brand with the addition of Comics and two Amazing new employees Michael Girard As Brand Ambassador and Nathan Sosa our newest clerk at Amazing Discoveries Gilbert. As you have seen we are ramping up our Event schedule a whole bunch at ADG!

Hello Mesa Comics customers and fans,

I hope your holidays have been fun so far. Unfortunately, I have some somber news. As of November 30th, Mesa Comics will be closing our doors. This was not an easy decision to come to, but our hand was forced. We had some issues with our lease not being renewed, our point of sale/online admin program failing for over a month now, both seen and unseen. While this is a somber time for all of us, I wanted to take this opportunity to say that we have been lucky to have each and every one of you. You have brought joy to Mesa Comics for over 2 years and that is easily the best part of having a comic and game store. There is no specific date for reopening at this point in time, but that door is still open.

So with that out of the way, where do we go from here?

Comic Subscription Box Holders – You have the option of moving your box to our other store, Tempe Comics. You will most likely not have an interruption of service. If you miss a book, please let the staff know and they will do everything they can to get that book to you. You will receive the same discount. Tempe Comics will treat you with the same friendly service and respect that you enjoyed at Mesa Comics. If you intend on moving your box, please let us know so that we can begin the transition.

Sales – For the next 8 days, we will be running sales on nearly all inventory at the store. Here is an example of what they will be: $1 comics, 40% off trades/hardcovers, 35% off Action Figures, and many more! There will be more sales, but you'll need to come by to check out what they are. We will not be open on Thursday, November 24. Stop by and pick up great holiday gifts for everyone.

We will still be running all of the game events that are on the schedule up until December 1st. That means our weekly event schedule is still in place, including our Standard Showdown this Saturday!

Well, that is it. I will be at Tempe Comics off and on, mostly on Friday nights. I hope you are able to make it in to Mesa Comics to see us before we close. The hardest part of all of this has been the notion that I won't get to see my favorite people on a regular basis. New Comic book day!
She has arrived! Riri takes the helm of the Invincible Iron Man title and she doesn't disappoint! Avengers 1.1 (old school story about the Avengers the being handed off from the original squad), Black Panther World of Wakanda, Mother Panic, and Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows are new titles to hit today.

Tonight we have SCG Game Night. Format is Standard and starts at 7pm. Packs, pins, and tokens are up for grabs!

Come in tomorrow and show us your I Voted sticker and you can get 10% off (once per customer, etc). It's easy. Go and exercise your right afforded to you and help decide the next leader of the US!
