So we made it through another Sand Sports Super Show. Made some major last minute changes to the RZR Turbo S that I feel really paid off. We stripped frame, suspension, and all stereo equipment out to freshen up. Had powder coat stripped and redone the same beautiful Illusion Red by Premier Powder Coating and Fabrication. Took our MB Quart Stage 5 and had the rear pods and grills painted gloss black, and what a difference in appearance that made. Then we figured we’d add some more bass to the mix and built 2 custom sub enclosures with 2 Hifonics Elite 8” subwoofers in each box, powered those with MB Quart’s 750.1 Marine Amps. The amount of bass these 8” subs produce is amazing.
Now that we’ll have the extra power from the Evolution Powersports Stage 5R and Large Injector Kit, we decided it was time step up to a more aggressive paddle, so we grabbed a set of Sandcraft RCR Destroyers 14 Paddle Sliders matched up with Valor Offroad V03 wheels. These should really help get the power to the sand this season.
A huge thank you as always to AZP Concepts who always comes through when time is limited and things have to be ready. We had some late nights getting everything back together and ready for King's Detail AZ LLC to step in and take it across the finish line. We use this RZR year round in all different kinds of environments so it was a mess so David had to really work for this one, but we knew he could handle it.
