Hello - anyone still out there? It’s been 2 years, 2 1/2-ish months since my last post. I know I kind of left you with an Irish Goodbye and honestly, I won’t lie and claim I feel bad about it. It just was how things needed to go.
As a quick recap - I closed my storefront after 17+ great years during Covid in 2020. I know that time changed many of us, and I just felt like it was the right moment to step away. We had a pretty decent online business that we started in 2018 and it seemed like the best thing to do was to pivot from brick and mortar to exclusively online. Not the easiest thing, maybe not the most popular or even the smartest thing (in hindsight) but it’s what happened. It was the right thing for my family and so I did it. The online store was a great transition for that first couple of years and I was even able to clear out almost all of my regular (ie the stuff NOT online) merchandise within a few months by opening up the “classroom” for some great sales. Fast forward to January of 2024 when I quietly turned off the online store. No post, no hoopla, nothing…I just said goodbye and relegated it to the abyss of websites who no longer exist.
Now…fast forward to 2025 and I am back in the old house clearing out the last of the product and fixtures and things so I thought I would just get back here on social media to say hello and let you know you will be hearing from me pretty regularly for the next bit. Most of the posts will be in stories - if you want to make sure you see them in your feed, like or comment on this post. I think that will help made sure to see my stuff. Hell, who knows, I haven’t posted on here in a hot minute…
