Paintings for a Purpose 2021 - Marc Bard

We are excited to announce artist Marc Bard will be displaying his watercolors at the Meredith Frame Shop for the month of July! This show, entitled Paintings with a Purpose 2021, is Marc’s second annual paintings with a purpose show with us. Marc’s show is a large collection of watercolors inspired by his favorite Lakes Region scenery. The opening reception for Marc’s work will be Thursday, July 1st, 2021 from 4pm-6pm however you can come see Marc’s work the whole month of July in our window and gallery space. All of the artist’s proceeds will be donated to the Castle Preservation Society at Castle in the Clouds. Come join us July 1st to meet the artist, support a good cause, and have some wine from Hermit Woods Winery!

Marc Bard has been a vacationer and now a summer resident of the Lakes Region for many years, capturing many of his favorite scenes and activities in his watercolors.
He initiated his artistic career over 50 years ago as a medical illustrator, earning tuition for medical school. While his medical career afforded him little time to pursue his artistic side, as his professional demands have tapered, he has been able to return to his first passion.
Today Marc devotes much of his time to volunteer work and painting. By donating all of his artwork for charitable purposes, he is able to integrate three of his core missions: his deep commitment to the Lakes Region; his social mission; and his lifelong passion for painting.
This year all of the artist's proceeds will be donated to the Castle Preservation Society!

Don’t forget to come see Marian Federspiel’s digital drawings on display at the Meredith Frame Shop tomorrow evening, June 10th from 4pm - 6pm! We are located on Main Street in Meredith, directly across from the Hermit Woods Winery. All of Marian’s displayed work is based on local Meredith scenery and depicts our wonderful town in all four seasons. Come meet the artist, view her digital drawings, see our new gallery space, and have some wine from Hermit Woods Winery!
