Hi friends Update:

— this one's a little emotional for me, and I'm feeling a bit sad, but also optimistic and hopeful.

The Groovy Goat will be closed for the full month of July. 💔💔

Both our shop and our online store, under my doctor's orders to rest as I focus on healing enough to return to work.

I know a full month is a lot. 😢

Trust me when I say, I wish I were healing faster. This is our season, and I truly miss everyone of you— you're the heart of our little shop.😘

Right now, I'm giving my full focus to healing.

A few of you have kindly asked what's wrong. Please understand and be gentle with me:

— I'm keeping the medical details private for now. I feel every bit of your kindness in asking, and your caring hearts mean the world to me.💛

Please don't worry — I am staying positive and strong. This just takes time, and I'm getting better every day! 💪💪

Your kind words are a big part of what keeps me postive and grateful on the harder days.🥰

To all the beautiful friends who poured out kind words and prayers on our last post — please know I read every single one, and it lifted my heart and soul more than you know.

❗️❗️An important update ❗️❗️
The Groovy Goat is closed for the time being, as I'm working through a serious medical condition. At this time, I can not say how long we will be closed. It is a serious situation, but please know I am in excellent hands with my doctors.💜 Together with doctors and family support, we are navigating it one day at a time to fully focus on my health. I'll share updated posts when I'm able and we know more— for now I'm taking this one step and one day at a time.💛

💔The timing of this is heartbreaking for me, not just as a business owner, but very personally. This store is my love, joy and passion. Summer is our busy season, and it's the time of year we get to see so many of your familiar faces return to visit Mentone and shop with us. Your joy around me and our shop fills my heart when I get to see you. I already miss all your smiles💔

🫶Please remember, we are a small family business, just us, no big staff behind the scenes. Right now this affects our whole family — my loved ones who help me run the Goat have to step away as well, to be by my side and help with my care.

💜The love you've shown our little shop over the past 5 years has meant more to me than I can say. Friends, you are what makes The Groovy Goat amazing. Thank you in advance for your understanding, patience and more importantly Thank You for being part of what makes Mentone such magical special place.💜🙌
