A little soap-making has officially made its way back into the chaos. 🫧😂

This is actually my first batch of liquid soap in a while! Summer has been BUSY, and while I haven’t been making as much soap, I definitely haven’t been sitting around doing nothing.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been working on lots of label and packaging redesigns, getting things ready for upcoming events, AND studying for my ServSafe test for my other job. Because apparently I enjoy giving myself homework. 😂📚

Today, though? It was really nice to get back to one of my favorite parts of Bri’s Bubbles — actually making the bubbles. 🫧

This batch is a custom order, and I couldn’t resist recording a little clip of it filling the bottle. And if you’ve been around for a while, you might remember that a very similar soap-filling video was my “crazy mini-viral reel.” 😆

So naturally… I had to try it again.

This might not look like much, but this is the beginning of something amazing! 🧼

I'm carefully mixing lye into frozen goat milk to help keep the milk cool and create a beautiful, creamy soap. This batch is becoming an Oatmeal, Milk & Honey cold process soap—a cozy, comforting bar that's gentle and perfect for everyday use.

Handmade soap starts with simple ingredients, a little science, and a whole lot of patience. After it's made, these bars will cure for several weeks before they're ready to come home with you!

🍂 Freshly Cut & I'm Already in Love! 🍂

Just look at this beauty! 😍

This is one of my brand new cold process soaps, handcrafted with real pumpkin purée and colloidal oatmeal. I wanted this bar to have a simple, rustic look that lets the natural ingredients speak for themselves—and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

One of the coolest things about cold process soap is that it continues to change as it cures. The color you see today will slowly morph over the next several weeks, so this isn't even its final look yet! I can't wait to see how it transforms. 🧡

This soap is curing now and will be available this fall. Stay tuned... I'll be sharing updated photos as it finishes curing!

I was going through my supplies and realized I have a loaf of soap that's fully cured and ready to be unmolded... and somehow I completely forgot about it! 😅

Summer is here, school is out, and I'm finally getting back into creating!

Today's project: testing another shampoo bar recipe with goat milk. At the moment, I'm sitting here waiting for the lye to melt the frozen goat milk—which is about as thrilling as watching paint dry, grass grow, or waiting for your favorite soap to cure. 😅

The glamorous life of a small business owner, right?

I'm excited to keep experimenting and hopefully get closer to the perfect shampoo bar recipe.
