Palmer co was the first American thermometer co established in 1836 in Cincinnati Ohio. In 1929 they invented and patented the first red mercury reading thermometer! This one is a beautiful boiler thermometer. Still operating as it should and with its original finish and glass!!! This will be available at my next sale!!

So unfortunately life gets in the way of posting and procuring cool vintage finds. So it’s only fitting that the first post in months for me is going to be of something that is not for sale..😂 This is a cast aluminum Highway marker from I believe the 1920’s. Again NFS. So lately I have been doing the Transporter thing 5 days a week and trying to squeeze in the vintage and antique thing whenever possible. Today I have a rare break in the transporter world . While I was out running errands I finally got a chance to find and try a steak and cheese sub! This is the ziggy Mac. Delicious!!! Sometimes certain pieces of history have a way of finding there forever homes. I was obviously blown away with .mccabe.520 1971 charger when it was rolling in this morning. So when he stopped by and spotted the original 1968 wise advertising poster of the L.A Dart it was meant to be! This killer 200 hr psychedelic paint job was done by . In homage to mike Mitchell’s Hippie Cuda funny car!! Also this 1971 charger was on the cover of mopar Action, Headlined at the Carlisle Chrysler Nationals and was transformed into a die cast car!! WOW!! That’s cool!
