I haven't posted in a while but I thought y'all should know my health has taken a down hill turn and I just won't be able to organize the yard sale anymore. I hate for it to end before it really got started. It's a really good idea. I think it would pick up more and more popularity each time it's done but I just can't do it. If there's someone that would like to take it on I would be happy to turn it over to them. You can have this page since it already has a lot of the community people on it, or you can start over your way. Someone think about it. Maybe several of y'all go together and do it.

On behalf of the rest of the booth owners for the First Annual Athens and Macedonia Community Yard Sale, I would like to thank everyone that came out and visited, bought items, became friends and just enjoyed spending time out amongst wonderful people in a beautiful community Saturday October 11 at our 1st ever event. We had so much fun visiting with each and every one of you. In fact we had such a good time we're considering making it a twice a year event both Spring and Fall. I will be leaving the page up indefinitely. You can contact me here if you are interested in participating next time as a merchandise vendor or as a yard sale entry.
