🌱 Ever wonder why some flower grows super dense while others come out a little more fluffy? There’s actually A LOT going on behind the scenes.

Genetics play a huge role, but they’re only part of the story. Light, temperature, nutrients, growing conditions, and the overall cultivation environment can all influence how tightly the buds develop.

It’s another perfect example of just how complex plant science and cultivation can get. Two plants can look completely different depending on their genetics AND the environment they were grown in.

🔬 You’ve probably heard the word trichomes before, but what are they and why do they actually matter?

Trichomes are tiny crystal-like structures found on the flower, and despite their size, they’re a HUGE part of the science behind the plant. They’re responsible for producing naturally occurring compounds like cannabinoids and terpenes, which contribute to things like aroma, flavor, and other characteristics.

And that’s really only scratching the surface. There’s a whole lot more science behind these tiny structures than we could fit into one short video, but we’re here to keep breaking it down one question at a time. 🧪🌱

👀 Does flower actually expire? It’s one of those questions we get all the time, and the answer isn’t as simple as a yes or no.

While flower doesn’t exactly “expire” the way food does, time can still make a difference. As it ages, moisture levels, terpenes, and potency can gradually change, which may affect its aroma, flavor, and overall experience.

Proper storage also plays a huge role in helping preserve quality over time, which is why understanding the science behind storage is just as important as understanding the plant itself.
