Because these are handmade knives, and not machined, you will frequently see imperfections, blemishes, and differences in finish materials that are part of a handmade product and natural materials. We are based in the United States and stand fully behind our products. We do occasionally make mistakes, and for that we do apologize in advance. Our knives come in a factory box and are typically well oiled. When you receive our knife, you need to wipe it down with a clean soft cloth. We enclose recommended knife care instructions.
