Today, The Soap Factory Midtown is partnering with Stella’s Ice Cream to support Camp Okawehna (“Camp O”), Tennessee’s only kidney camp and one of the largest kidney camps in the country, welcoming children from across the United States.

Camp O provides a fully staffed on-site dialysis clinic with volunteer physicians and dialysis nurses delivering life-sustaining care 24/7 so these amazing kids can safely experience the joy of summer camp.

20% of all proceeds today will help provide transportation, snacks, sleeping bags, water bottles, shower supplies, and other essentials for these children during their week at kidney camp.

We are especially proud to support Memphis’ own Dr. Rima Zahr, pediatric nephrologist at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, who has served as Camp O’s Medical Director since 2019 alongside an incredible team of nurses, physicians, coordinators, and counselors.

💜🩷 Erma’s Army Soap 🩷💜

At The Soap Factory Midtown, sometimes the most meaningful soaps we make aren’t about scent… they’re about people.

Our Erma’s Army soap is a cold process soap made with our traditional recipe of palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil, and olive oil, created through the saponification process. We always try to keep an unscented soap available for anyone going through surgery, chemotherapy, or skin conditions, because gentle, simple ingredients matter during those times.

This soap is named for Erma, she loves pink and purple, and she is currently being treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As Erma finishes radiation, she is heading into an important series of scans, and we want to surround her and her family with as much love and prayer as possible.

✨ Please mark your calendars and join in prayer and healing thoughts:
• April 28 – MRI of her pelvis
• April 29 – MRI of her spine + chest CT
• April 30 – MIBG scan + bone marrow biopsy
