Trusting God…
You have God, as your Father, who is able to provide for you with ease. This is why you do not panic where troubling situations come. Think of all the troubling situations that have come your way. They are all in the past now. This shows you that God will always settle your situations, no matter what.
Today’s word is: TRUST
Your only focus should be trusting in God. Nothing else.
Prayer:
Dear God, I thank you that I can move in this life, freely, knowing that all I need has been met. I do not count any troubling situation as life-defining, because you will always get me through them. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.🙏💒💝👑

Saturday Devotion....
We have God, as our Father, who is able to provide for us with ease. This is why we do not panic where troubling situations come. Think of all the troubling situations that have come your way. They are all in the past now. This shows you that God will always settle your situations, no matter what.

God is still in control!

We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but we know who brings each and every tomorrow!
You and I are winners, regardless of the outcome of this election, because our future is in the hands of the one who not only holds the future, but loves us with a love that’s unshakable!

Sunday Devotion...
“God will make a way.”
Thank You Heavenly Father for yet another day and for being a very present help in times of trouble. When we find our backs against the wall, You always make a way out of no way.
Isaiah 41:10 NIV says: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Thank You for being my Way Maker, Miracle Worker, Promise Keeper and Light in the Darkness!
Today’s word is SETBACKS!!!
Setbacks can happen in anyone’s life, but don’t give up and don’t give in. If you let the Lord guide you through these trying times, He will use your setback, to set you up for your comeback!! Your setback is only a setup!!!
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.” (1 Peter 5:10 NIV)

How do we respond when we face uncertain situations?
How should we as Christians respond to uncertainty?
How do we process the chaos and confusion of a pandemic, political uncertainty or even personal crisis? Does God’s Word give us relief for the pain and panic we may be experiencing today? Yes, it certainly does.
God rules, reigns and controls over all things. While we may face uncertainty, there is never an ounce of uncertainty for God.
Paul speaks to the people of Athens at the Aereopagus in Acts 17. The Aereopagus was a place filled with uncertainty. People would gather and talk for hours trying to understand and solve the issues of humanity (religion, politics, family, etc.)
Paul says these assuring and comforting words:
“The God who made the world and everything in it, being Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by man, nor is he served by human hands, as though he needed anything, since he himself gives to all mankind life and breath and everything. And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us” (Acts 17:24-27).
Notice the specific and hope-filled truths about God:
1 He is Lord of heaven and earth. In other words, He is King of all things!
2 He is the source of life. The source of life needs nothing because He sustains all He creates.
You can respond to the uncertainty of life with the certainty of God’s plan and purpose for you.
Paul says the purpose is to reach out, find God and come to realize He was never far from you.
Theologian Charles Spurgeon said, “God is near, and therefore hope is near.”
You have the certainty of God’s nearness.
Our job: to reflect the love, goodness, grace and glory of Christ to a broken world. Everything else is in the firm and faithful hands of our loving God.
Heavenly Father, You are the King of kings and ruler over all. Help that truth resonant deep within me when I feel uncertain. Nothing surprises You, and You have a good plan for those who love You. Thank You for Your nearness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen 👑💒🙏💝

Saturday Devotion....
We all need encouragement in every season of our life—a kind word, a hand that reaches out when we need to feel loved.
Barnabas was willing to help, make himself available and jump at the chance to serve obediently in whatever tasks were laid before him. The Bible says Barnabas was “a good man, full of the Holy Spirit,” and he did the Lord’s bidding wherever he went (Acts 11:24, NIV).
Encouraging others can be simple, or it might take a little planning. That’s okay.
There are people everywhere who need to hear, “I am with you. I care about you, and I see you working hard.”
Today’s word is ENCOURAGE!!!
Ask the Lord this week to bring people into your life that need to be encouraged. Use your God given giftings & talents to encourage them such as a smile, hand shake, loving words, cookies or a pie or maybe a card to just say I Love you & I’m praying for you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, help me to encourage those around me. I know that You bring others into my life for a purpose. Guide me to love and help them. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

A little long but I promise you it’s worth reading.
Messy Pages Make Beautiful Masterpieces!
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, ‘He told me everything I ever did.’”
John 4:39 (NIV
Everyone loves a good story. But not everyone likes their own story.
It’s difficult to understand a story if there are missing chapters. Each chapter helps explain why characters are the way they are — why you and I are the way we are. You can’t tear out a page or skip a chapter and still make sense of your story. But you can learn to embrace your story and trust God to keep writing your story into His.
The Samaritan woman who met Jesus at the well didn’t like her story at all. Rather than gathering water in the cool of the morning or evening, she went in the heat of the day to avoid the other women who met at the well. Why? She likely felt thrown away by her five previous husbands, and ashamed that she wasn’t married to the man she was currently living with. (John 4:18) She may have even been the talk of the town. Hers was not a good story.
But Jesus came to change all that. It started with His question to her, “Will you give me a drink?” (John 4:7, NIV).
And it ended with an astounding revelation, which Jesus had not spoken to another soul: “I, the one speaking to you—I am he [the Messiah]” (John 4:26, NIV).
She dropped her water pot on the ground and ran into town to tell everyone about this new chapter in her story.
When we drop our “water pots” filled with anger, shame, condemnation, regret and bitterness, the Living Water cuts a trail in the dust and sends us on a new course for life.
Today’s word is: STORY
What’s your story? Whatever it is, I’m guessing there are pages you wish you could rip out of the narrative. But what I want to tell you is that the whole of it matters. Every crossed-out word. Every worn-thin erasure. Every ripped-out page. You can have a better story, even with marred pages included. You can change the ending of your story, just like the Samaritan woman, even if it feels like you’re trapped in a chapter that has come to a dead stop.
You can grasp redemption from the jaws of brokenness and allow God to use your brokenness for good.
That’s what Jesus did with the Samaritan woman at the well. And then she shared her story for others’ good and God’s glory.
By running to town rather than hiding, by telling of her encounter with Jesus, she led many to believe. John wrote: “Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him [Jesus] because of the woman’s testimony, ‘He told me everything I ever did’” (John 4:39).
It may be hard to believe that it’s possible for God to use your pain for a purpose if you’re still living through a bad story. But don’t give up hope.
God takes the hard things and uses them to showcase His mercy, grace and forgiveness to create a new beginning. Yes, your worst chapters can become God’s best miracles. Your pain can become a portal of God’s grace. Your ravaged pages can become God’s redemptive masterpiece.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I trust that Your pen never slips when it comes to writing my story. Help me to give You the messy pages and the broken stages and not to cling to them with an unrelenting hand. I trust You to make beauty from ashes in my life. Give me the courage to tell others about what You have done in my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen. 👑💝🙏💒
