Joining the has been such a fabulous experience since I moved to Memphis
As a former in an art gallery for decades near Boston and now being a vintage vendor at Quantum Antique Gallery and placer of objects in interiors at I have valued their phenomenal lecture series.

There is a book signing with an impressive lineup of that starts with is a catered Meet and Greet followed by a fabulous lecture from the author that delves into their design process. It is so inspiring and held in partnership with the Brooks Museum. The DAT membership supports this series bringing in such talented designers and architects and its mission to add pieces from the realm of the to the museums permanent collection.
This series is FREE and open to the public ensuring access to the arts for all. I highly recommend joining because the membership levels support the series as well as members getting to tour the private homes of members several times of the year, which has been so chic.

At the annual meeting at a Memphis private home I learned of the spectacular work of Mary Sims. The hosts welcomed us into their home where we all enjoyed their hospitality and with top notch food from LH Catering.
took care of me with my broken toe keeping my car near by and I highly recommend them, thank you Hannah!

“Marilyn Monroe in The Seven Year Itch (1955) filmed at 1:00 AM on September 15, 1954, corner of Lexington Avenue and 52nd Street in New York City.

“The scene’s on-location night shoot was outside a Trans-Lux theater at Lexington and 52nd in Manhattan, 1 a.m. Billy Wilder told the press who assembled at the location but beyond expectations was the massive presence of the public in the thousands.

Every time Monroe’s dress blew up, the public went wild, ruining several perfect shots which left a substantial amount of footage unusable.
Finally, to get the dialogue right, it was later re-shot on a soundstage at the 20th Century Fox, California, pieces from both the shoots were later used for the scene.

loves a cozy spot run by good people so you need to know about it! A darkly chic neighborhood restaurant being run by an iconic Memphis bartender were all are welcome is what the is all about.
