Lately I've been filling my days with things that don't look important from the outside. A walk. A waterfall. A good book. A quiet moment.
I've been reminded recently that not everyone experiences the world this way. Some people see a place and immediately wonder how it got there, where it's going, what it means, what is coming next, and there is beauty in that, too.
But sometimes I think we're so busy trying to understand a moment that we forget to experience it. To stand still. To breathe it in. To appreciate that out of all the possibilities, all the years that came before, we get this moment. And for me, that's enough.
