Giant steelhead boat nets don’t really do 20 inch trout much justice, but here we are. The Rogue fished really well yesterday and the bugs were back out in good numbers after not much activity last week in the cooler wet weather. We should have at least another week of really good dry fly action so hit us up to get out there

It’s that time of year here on the Rogue, and our fly boxes are fully stocked with all the best salmonfly and golden stone patterns you could ever need! Always good to have a good variety as every day is different and you never know what pattern will work the best. The big bugs are out but not in big numbers yet, but it’s shaping up to be a great trout opener on the river next Friday!
