time for fascist horde of representative tormentors in D.C. to STOP the Justice Dept. coverup from protecting those who should be removed from power and prosecuted, even impeached - NOW! And Deep Pockets Chopra's emails with Epstein have been exposed a week or so back and you can be certain his books are no longer worth even a recycle (where they would be subject to being resold anyway). Women's History Month is March. During these turbulent times we find ourselves in these days, ANY NON-FICTION BOOK in the open shop relating to the History of Women, or a woman (ON ANY SUBJECT) throughout the store is, through March, discounted 50%. A $10 book is $5, a $4 book is $2. This is a word of mouth sale. We will have no signs posted. Grab a book or books, remind us at the check out and get the deal. Resist. Resist a lot.

Please note that as middle-way bookshop owners we have embraced through our inventory all folds of thought and literature (drawing the line at “no p**n and no hate books” except historical). We consider ourselves, somewhat selfishly as “real booksellers” as opposed to “sellers of books”. Over the decades, we have been visited by Republican and Democrat and Independent / so-called alt-right / alt-left folks, and greens, conservatives, liberals, free-thinkers, conservatives. All manner of customers blended in our stacks gathered mostly in peace with each other, regardless of political or religious leanings or sexual orientation. A wide-ranging variety of thought and faith have intermingled; religious, political, scholarly, scientific, atheistic and autodidact minds set the stage. And so, it is still thus in year 42 as real time booksellers even as we age and move slower. As we post this today I ask - how can the administrator of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, whom I suppose took the Hippocratic Oath in one form or another - team up with a pocket stuffed tech boy supported Vice President to hurt people by withholding funds for medical care in the name of Fraud investigation when their top boss is without doubt a total Fraud. Well, he is worse, much worse than a fraud. I keep hearing that F word a lot these days. Resist. Resist a lot.

Today on the right, there are plenty of folks who call themselves conservatives but are far from the historical definition.
