HWY 56 Sales Scramble

As we look forward to the 2027 HWY 56 Sales Scramble, we are looking to add any town that wishes to join, and we will remove some towns that have historically had zero sign-ups.

Should we add anyone?

We've got a whole lineup of improvements to make this an even better experience for our sellers and shoppers alike. Printed maps, better signs, signs indicating participating towns with spinners and such, a modified website... we're pulling out all the stops!

We will also be bringing back the business sponsorships with their designed advertisements instead of just the name of the business.

We were able to stop by most of the coordinators over the last couple of days and thank them for their work in making the HWY 56 Sales Scramble work!

Ellinwood’s Debbie at Two Chicks And Some Old Bird won both trophies for Most Garage Sales signed up and Volunteer of the Year. Kinsley won Most Businesses signed up.

Preparations are already under way for making the 2027 version of the HWY 56 Sales Scramble even better!

Who would be interested in adding a FALL HWY 56 Sales Scramble? What month would be good?

Too hot?
Does it lose the power of April's event?
Do people not have enough to add another event? It could, perhaps, recruit new sellers who weren't ready in April.
