🚨 GREENSBORO: ONE SALE. ALL THE VINTAGE SHENANIGANS. 🚨

This weekend, we’re putting all our treasure-hunting eggs in one wildly eclectic basket—and Campers, it is a GOOD one.

This house is where the ’70s and ’80s came to party…and apparently nobody ever told them to go home.

We’ve got a Frederick Willys pool table, vintage lamps with serious main-character energy, art glass, old-school media, delightfully weird furniture, cameras, collectibles, military memorabilia, vintage toys, dolls, quilts, and yes—vintage gumball machines.

Because why buy one perfectly normal thing when you could go home with a Fenton vase, an 8-track, and something fabulous you cannot explain to your spouse until after it is already in the car?

✨ Goebel, Fenton & Roseville
🎶 LPs, VHS, DVDs & 8-tracks
📷 Kodak, Polaroid, Ansco & Camtec cameras
🕹️ Vintage toys, board games & Beanie Babies
💡 Vintage lamps, art glass & décor
🎱 That fabulous Frederick Willys pool table
🪑 Antique, contemporary, vintage, and “what is that and why do I love it?” furniture

This is a proper look twice, check every corner, and text your best friend a photo with zero context kind of sale.

One sale. One house. An alarming amount of personality.

👂🏕️ — Overheard on the Trail 🏕️👂

Campers, we hear things.

And somewhere between the Pleasant Garden expedition and our one-day Hamilton Forest dash, we’re pretty sure we heard ALL of these... 😂

💬 “Wait... there’s MORE?”
— Pleasant Garden. Every. Single. Time.

💬 “Did you check the outbuildings?”
— Congratulations. Your 30-minute shopping trip just became an afternoon. 😏

💬 “THERE’S A SEWING STUDIO?!”
— Of course there is. Because apparently the HOUSE WASN’T ENOUGH. 🧵😂

💬 “Where’s the golf cart?”
— Pleasant Garden: come for the treasures, stay for the complimentary off-road transportation. 🛺🏕️

💬 “I already looked in this room.”
— Did you, though? DID YOU?

Meanwhile, over at Hamilton Forest...

💬 “It’s only ONE DAY?!”
— Yep. Less pondering. More purchasing. 😂

💬 “Those bikes are for sale too?”
— Everything starts looking tempting when the clock is ticking. 🚲

💬 “Where am I supposed to park?”
— Ahhh, Hamilton Forest. Beautiful neighborhood. Character-building parking. 😏

💬 “I should probably decide now.”
— FINALLY. Someone understands a one-day sale.

And the sentence heard at BOTH?

💬 “I definitely wasn't planning to buy this.”

Campers...
You rarely are. 😂🔥

Now it's YOUR turn.
👂 What was the funniest thing you said, heard, or thought while shopping this weekend?
Drop it in the comments. ⬇️

We're compiling the unofficial language of estate sale shoppers one questionable decision at a time. 😏🏕️

🚧🏕️ CAMPERS, THIS WEEKEND COMES WITH TREASURES, A LITTLE ADVENTURE…AND SOME VERY IMPORTANT ORANGE CONES. 🏕️🚧

We’ve got two completely different sales this weekend—and both are worth putting on your calendar.

One is a gloriously overfilled collector’s house down a private gravel road in Pleasant Garden. The other is a one-day Hamilton Forest sale, which means there is precisely zero room for “I’ll come back tomorrow.”
Before we get to the good stuff: parking will be snug at both locations.

Please respect the cones, keep driveways and mailboxes clear, and follow staff direction. We’re working to keep the roads clear, the neighbors happy, and the morning from becoming Parking Wars: Estate Sale Edition.

🌿 PLEASANT GARDEN
Private Gravel Road. Serious Treasure Situation.
The house is full. The outbuildings are full. The sewing studio is full.

This is a proper, joyful, “wait—there’s more back here?” kind of treasure hunt.
Handbags by Coach, Dooney & Bourke, Kate Spade, Fossil, Michael Kors, and Etienne Aigner. Clothing, shoes, purses, linens, housewares, décor, wall art, electronics, and small appliances.

Then there are sewing machines by Singer, White, Elna, Brother, Morse, and Kenmore; holiday collectibles from Lenox, Fitz & Floyd, Clothtique, and Jim Shore; and china by Lenox, Mikasa, Royal Albert, Franciscan, Queen China, Studio Nova, and more.

Parking is limited, but the Happy Camper Golf Cart Shuttle will be rolling to get you into the good stuff. Park where directed, hop aboard, and prepare to lose all track of time.

⚡ HAMILTON FOREST
One Day. One Chance. No Sunday Do-Overs.
La-Z-Boy and American Drew furniture. Royal Jackson china. Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE appliances. Varsity and Schwinn bikes. Outdoor furniture, rugs, wall décor, games, storage, holiday goodies, and clothing for him and her.

A mighty fine lineup with a very firm deadline: Saturday only.

Two sales. Loads of finds. A few cones doing their best to keep the peace.

See y’all on the trail, Campers. 😉.

🔧 ESTATE SALE TRUTH #2

Repeat after us...
Never skip the garage.

Ever.

We've watched people spend an hour inside the house.....while someone else walked out with the Snap-On toolbox.

Or the vintage signs.
Or the fishing gear.
Or the shop cabinets.
Or the cast iron.
Or the lawn equipment.

Sometimes the garage is where the real party is.

Go look.

We'll wait.

🚨 CAMPERS. CANCEL YOUR ERRANDS. WE HAVE A WEEKEND SITUATION. 🚨

This weekend, Happy Camper is serving up two very different flavors of fabulous:

✨ A Pleasant Garden collector’s house so magnificently overfilled that the house itself, the outbuildings, and the sewing studio all deserve their own zip code.

⚡ And a Hamilton Forest one-day sale that will be gone before you finish saying, “I wonder if they’ll still have—”

Spoiler: They will not.

🌿 PLEASANT GARDEN
The Private-Gravel-Road Treasure Hunt of Your Dreams

Let’s be clear: this is not a sale.

This is an archaeological event.

Somewhere in Pleasant Garden, a collector spent years lovingly gathering purses, shoes, clothing, china, holiday collectibles, electronics, housewares, sewing supplies, décor, and approximately eleven thousand things that will make you yell, “OH MY GOD, MY GRANDMOTHER HAD ONE OF THOSE.”

The house is packed.
The outbuildings are packed.
The sewing studio is packed.

If you hear a faint voice whispering, “There’s more in the next room,” do not be alarmed. That is just the sale talking.

👜 Dooney & Bourke. Kate Spade. Coach. Fossil. Michael Kors. Etienne Aigner.
👠 Purses, shoes, and clothing with enough choices to make your closet feel personally attacked.
🧵 Sewing machines by Singer, White, Elna, Brother, Morse, and Kenmore—plus enough sewing goodness to make every creative person suddenly announce they are “getting back into it.”
🎄 Lenox. Fitz & Floyd. Clothtique. Jim Shore. Because Christmas apparently has no off-season and, frankly, we respect the commitment.
🍽️ Lenox, Mikasa, Royal Albert, Franciscan, Studio Nova, Queen China, Royal Victorian, Temper Ware, and more table-setting temptation than you can shake a gravy boat at.
📺 Emerson, Sony, Phillips, Realistic, RCA, Technic, Samsung, Magnavox, Olympic…and all kinds of gloriously unexpected finds in between.

This is where you find the thing you didn’t know you were looking for, immediately decide you cannot live without it, and then spend the drive home explaining to your spouse that it was “practically free.”

Now, Campers: this glorious circus is down a private gravel road, so parking is limited.

The cones are not festive roadside pumpkins.
They are not tiny orange decorations.
They are not a personal challenge.

Respect the cones. Keep the road clear. Be sweet to the neighbors. Then let the Happy Camper Golf Cart shuttle you into the madness like the treasure-hunting royalty you were always meant to be.

⚡ HAMILTON FOREST
One Day. One Shot. Absolutely No Take-Backs.

Hamilton Forest is a one-day sale, which means we need everybody to remove “I’ll come back tomorrow” from their vocabulary immediately.

Tomorrow, the sale will be over.
The good rug will be in somebody else’s living room.
The bike will be halfway down the greenway.
And you will be standing in your kitchen, staring at the sad little space where that American Drew furniture should have been.

Waiting for you:

🛋️ La-Z-Boy and American Drew furniture
🍽️ Royal Jackson china
🌀 Whirlpool, Maytag, and GE appliances
🚲 Varsity and Schwinn bikes
🌿 Outdoor furniture
🏠 Rugs, wall décor, home décor, games, storage solutions, holiday décor, and clothing for him and her

In short: plenty of reasons to set an alarm, drink your coffee with purpose, and get there before someone else gets emotionally attached to your stuff.

Two sales.
Two entirely different adventures.
One extremely strong case for a roomy trunk and absolutely no afternoon obligations.

Pleasant Garden: bring your patience, your curiosity, and your willingness to hunt.
Hamilton Forest: bring your decisiveness, because Saturday is all she wrote.

See y’all on the trail, Campers. 🏕️

❤️ Happy Son and Daughter Day!

Let's be honest...
At some point, every son or daughter has rolled their eyes and said...
"Why do Mom and Dad keep all this stuff?"

Fast-forward twenty years...
And now you're standing in an estate sale saying...
"I wish we still had Grandma's Pyrex."

Funny how that works. 😉

Turns out...
Sometimes the "stuff" wasn't just stuff after all.

Happy Son and Daughter Day to the kids, the grown-up kids, and everyone who's ever discovered that memories have a funny way of hiding inside ordinary things. ❤️

😏🏕️ — Camper Confessions 🏕️😏

Alright, Campers...

This is a judgment-free zone.
(Okay... maybe just a little judgment. 😜)

This weekend's stops in Sedgefield and Sophia had us wondering...

How many of these apply to YOU?

🙋 "I was only going to make one quick stop."
🙋 "I absolutely did NOT need another piece of furniture."
🙋 "I measured the space... after I bought it."
🙋 "I bought something because I knew I'd regret leaving it behind."
🙋 "I had to explain my purchase to someone when I got home."
🙋 "I said, 'Where am I going to put this?'... while carrying it to checkout."

We've heard every one of these over the years...
And honestly?
We completely understand. 😏

Now it's confession time...
💬 What's your biggest estate sale confession?

Pull up a camp chair...
it's story time. 🏕️☕

(We'll go first...)

Sometimes we spot something and think,
"If nobody buys that today..." 👀😂

Your turn.

08/09/2026

🚨 SUNDAY FUNDAAAAAY, CAMPERS! 🚨

The treasure trail is still open, the finds are still fabulous, and today almost everything is HALF OFF at both Sophia and Sedgefield. 🏕️

Yes, HALF OFF.

That means this is the day when the sensible shoppers come back for that lamp they “didn’t need,” the chair they’ve been thinking about all night, and the random kitchen gadget they suddenly cannot imagine living without.

🚜 SOPHIA
Tools, furniture, housewares, garage goodies, outdoor equipment, treasures in the house, treasures in the outbuildings—let’s make some deals.

And yes, the glorious 1970 Ford F-100 is still there…
but no, friends. The truck is not half off. We love y’all dearly, but we have not completely lost the plot. 😘

🏡 SEDGEFIELD
Furniture, crystal, rugs, décor, kitchen goodies, clothing, linens, holiday finds, electronics, and all sorts of “how is this still here?” treasures are ready for their next adventure.

And a special round of applause for Sedgefield parking, which was surprisingly manageable yesterday. Look at us all behaving like civilized woodland creatures! Keep it up—mind the signs, keep those mailboxes clear, and let’s finish strong.

Come see us. Bring a friend. Bring a tape measure.
Bring a vehicle with enough room for your suddenly expanded plans.

Half off almost everything. Today only.

08/08/2026

🚨 CAMPERS. THE TRUCK HAS ARRIVED. 🚨

And by “truck,” we mean a gorgeous, growly, 1970 Ford F-100 that is sitting out in Sophia looking like it has somewhere to be, someone to impress, and zero interest in your sensible little sedan.

This weekend’s sales are bringing two entirely different brands of estate-sale mayhem:

🚜 SOPHIA: BIG TOYS, BIG FINDS & BIG “WHERE ARE WE GOING TO PUT THAT?” ENERGY

The F-100 is just the opening act.

Also waiting in the wings: a Club Car Villager golf cart, utility trailers, bush hog, disc harrow, scoop bucket, bale spear, field cultivator, sulky, hand tools, power tools, fishing gear, camping gear, a wood stove, and enough garage-and-outbuilding glory to make a person with absolutely no acreage start browsing Zillow.

Then head inside for furniture by Sumter, Stanley, La-Z-Boy, Ashley, and Hillsdale; Bose, JVC, Vizio, and Cinemavision electronics; a grandfather clock; housewares; linens; wall art; and all manner of marvelous things just waiting to become your next questionable loading decision.

This is not a “quick little stop” sale.
This is a “text the family you’ll be late and bring the trailer just in case” sale.

🏡 SEDGEFIELD: TOWNHOUSE TREASURES, PRETTY THINGS & PARKING WITH A PERSONALITY

Over in Sedgefield, the finds are serving grown-up treasure with a side of “oh no, that would look perfect in my dining room.”

California House, Thomasville, Cochrane, and La-Z-Boy furniture. Lenox crystal. Breville and Cuisinart kitchen favorites. Polk and Sony electronics. Talbots and Jones New York clothing. Rugs, linens, wall décor, housewares, holiday décor, outdoor goodies, and more.

Basically, it is a townhouse full of reasons to say, “I’m only looking,” immediately followed by, “Can you hold this for me?”

But Campers…parking requires a little trail wisdom.

Mind the signs. Watch for the cones. Keep the mailboxes clear. Please do not creatively invent a parking space where one has never existed, no matter how badly that beautiful Thomasville piece is calling your name.

We are guests in this neighborhood, and we’d like to leave it with happy residents, clear streets, and no one standing outside yelling, “WHOSE CAR IS THIS?!”

Two sales. One spectacular old Ford.
A whole lot of treasure.

See y’all on the trail. 🏕️

Not every great find comes with a big price tag.

That's one of the things we love most about estate sales.

Every home is different.
Every collection is different.
Every treasure has its own story.

Sometimes the piece everyone notices is exactly what you'd expect...

And sometimes the best bargain in the house is sitting quietly on a bookshelf, tucked in a corner, or waiting on the bottom shelf of a cabinet.

That's why our favorite shoppers don't race through a sale...

They look.

Because the thrill isn't just finding something wonderful...

It's finding something wonderful that nobody else noticed first. 😉
