Cabot Guns From the rolling hills of western Pennsylvania, 100% American, Investment Grade Pistols
(325)

The production process to build a Cabot 1911 pistols takes four months and the work of up to 75 highly skilled individuals. Our craftsmen are industry leading journeymen that regularly produce metal components at tolerances of 50 millionth of an
inch and more. Specific projects have also produced components where tolerances of 5 and 10 millionth of an inch have been
achieved. This same extreme pre

cision and workmanship has been applied to the construction of Cabot pistols. The frame and
slide of a Cabot 1911 are produced to a total fit of 0.001 inches (0.0005 inches per side) and are guaranteed to be completely
interchangeable with other Cabot 1911 frames and slides, unheard of in the industry. To put this in perspective a human hair
is 0.003 inches, thus the frame fit on each side of a Cabot gun is 1/6th the width of a human hair. The consistency of our frame
to slide does not vary by more than 0.0002 (2/10,000th of an inch) for each and every frame and slide.

“Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen of the Allied Expeditionary Force!

You are about to embark upon the Great Crusade, toward which we have striven these many months. The eyes of the world are upon you. The hope and prayers of liberty-loving people everywhere march with you. In company with our brave Allies and brothers-in-arms on other Fronts, you will bring about the destruction of the German war machine, the elimination of N**i tyranny over the oppressed peoples of Europe, and security for ourselves in a free world.

Your task will not be an easy one. Your enemy is well trained, well equipped and battle-hardened. He will fight savagely.

But this is the year 1944! Much has happened since the N**i triumphs of 1940-41. The United Nations have inflicted upon the Germans great defeats, in open battle, man-to-man. Our air offensive has seriously reduced their strength in the air and their capacity to wage war on the ground. Our Home Fronts have given us an overwhelming superiority in weapons and munitions of war, and placed at our disposal great reserves of trained fighting men. The tide has turned! The free men of the world are marching together to Victory!

I have full confidence in your courage, devotion to duty and skill in battle. We will accept nothing less than full Victory!

Good luck! And let us beseech the blessing of Almighty God upon this great and noble undertaking.” - General Dwight D. Eisenhower, from Supreme Allied Command Headquarters.

June 6, 1944. Today marks 82 years since the most ambitious and perhaps the most consequential moment on modern history. The beginning of the end of the German reign.

Today, we reflect and remember. Our D-Day pistol set, built from artifacts of the battle and the sands of Normandy, built for the 80th Anniversary two years ago, remain the most powerful project we’ve had the privilege to create.

Our thanks to every craftsman who helped bring this to life. Watch our latest portrait of a craftsman video celebrating and his incredible case for these pistols on our YouTube and in the link in our stories.

Mornings made better with good reading, some proper coffee, and a Cabot Gentleman’s Carry.

MOONRAKER, the third Ian Fleming Bond novel, is a classic detective/espionage novel that’s well worth the time as you plan your summer reading. Reading like this is the perfect companion for the Gentleman’s Carry, our sidearm for the discerning man.

There’s so much to appreciate in these pages, especially for a fan of classic handguns. After all, even 007 kept a 1911 in his Bentley.

The Serenity MAX. A combination of pure, raw beauty, and the excellence demanded of a double stack pistol.

Sunlight on a darkened day. Deep-etched Damascus brilliance that draws the light, radiating it back with every opportunity.

The Apocalypse Classic - part of our 15th anniversary collection.

For this limited run of 16 pistols, we took the same Damascus steel slide we use make the Apocalypse 2.0 and Apocalypse Max and added some classic touches. Vertical serrations, our new spur hammer, hi-power cuts, ironwood grips and a vintage patina finish all come together to make these pistols something truly special to behold.

“I am oppressed with a sense of the impropriety of uttering words on this occasion.

If silence is ever golden, it must be here, beside the graves of fifteen thousand men, whose lives were more significant than speech, and whose death was a poem, the music of which can never be sung.

With words we make promises, plight faith, praise virtue. Promises may not be kept; plighted faith may be broken; and vaunted virtue be only the cunning mask of vice. We do not know one promise these men made, one pledge they gave, one word they spoke; but we do know they summed up and perfected, by one supreme act, the highest virtues of men and citizens.

For love of country they accepted death, and thus resolved all doubts, and made immortal their patriotism and their virtue.”

Congressman James Abram Garfield, 30 May, 1868 on the first Decoration Day (known today as Memorial Day) service at Arlington National Cemetery.

The full speech, well worth the time to read, may be found on the website.

May we never forget the sacrifices of the fallen. God bless you all.
