Today is a post we never wanted to write.
We have some heartbreaking news to share.
Our sweet Stitch has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. 💔🐾
Many of you knew Stitch as the little corgi who greeted you at the door, “helped” with quilts, supervised fabric selections, and always managed to be exactly where you were trying to work. If there was fabric on the floor, he claimed it. If there was a quilt, it was his. And if you walked into Quacky Quilter Haberdashery, he was ready to welcome you with those big ears and even bigger heart.
Stitch wasn’t just our shop dog. He was family.
He brought laughter to our days, comfort during the hard ones, and became a familiar face to so many of you. Whether you met him once or watched him grow through our photos and videos, thank you for loving him right along with us.
The shop will feel a lot quieter now. We’ll miss hearing his paws on the floor, seeing him waiting by the front door for the next customer, seeing his little nub wiggling with excitement, and finding him curled up in a quilt that he had absolutely no permission to claim.
Thank you to everyone who loved him, spoiled him with treats, and asked about him whenever you stopped by. We know he brought joy to so many people, just as he did to us every single day.
Run free, sweet Stitch. Chase all the cows, nap in all the quilts, and know that you’ll always be part of Quacky Quilter Haberdashery.
You were the best little helper we could have ever asked for.
We’ll miss you more than words can say, sweet Stitch. Until we meet again.
